Great to read this review and so pleased he is still smashing it and delighting audiences.

Lucky enough to see him at City Hall Newcastle in the late 70’s and several times since at stadium venues. I’ve had my fill tho now.

Anyone else going? - if you are, have a cracking time

Last night was incredible. I'd seen him at Glastonbury in 2009 but was desperate to see a proper full on Bruce show.

Was worried I'd built it up too much in my head but needn't have worried. From the opening notes of No Surrender right through to the end it was absolute perfection and a masterclass in how to connect with 60k people at once.

There were a couple of minor dips in the setlist but other than that he commanded everyone's attention for 3hrs solid. I also don't think I've seen so many fully grown men shedding tears at a gig!!

He knows his days are drawing in but he seems to have embraced that and is going to keep smashing it out the park right to the end.

One of the best nights I'll ever have and worth every penny.

Like you, I have seen him half a dozen times but are gutted now I never tried to get tickets to go and see him on this tour.

The 'dips' are understandable in such a long show aren't they. And, frankly, everyone needs a bit of time to get their breath back.

I love that story about him when he was going through depression and just went to a diner for a beer and a sandwich.
Guy next to him got chatting and invited him home for dinner.
Called his wife and said he was bringing Springsteen over for a bite to eat o_O

Off to see him at Hyde Park in July. It will be my 4th time having seen him at Glastonbury, Sunderland and Coventry.

I'd say I can't wait but as it happens I've got plenty of live music to keep me entertained until 8th July.

Absolutely. A true legend and I was so glad I managed to see him finally. Haven't heard many crowds as enthusiastic and emotional.

Seen him several times in the UK and probably would've been able to see him again on this tour, but I'm currently in the US and Ticketmaster didn't give me the slightest chance with their dynamic pricing fiasco. Would've had to pay several hundred dollars even for one of the worst seats in the stadium. Criminals. But I hold out hope that I'll see him again one day.

Ah you'll get the chance to see him again man, he's a spring chicken.

The train journey back home (some were still running!) gave me chance to update the spreadsheet 🤓. Now 106 different songs across 10 gigs. Two songs at all 10, both predictable.

Great gig yesterday. Band on good form, energy levels still high, love Jake, always love Nils, Little Steven seemed to be enjoying it (not sure he was last time I saw the band in 2016). I managed to get about five rows back down at the front. Amazing time.
