Another nice touch, Lumley talking to their keeper after the final whistle.
When he scores his first overhead kick goal for us, I’ll liken him more to Branca; who in fact btw was my favourite Boro striker!looks far better than Nemeth, as someone else said; hopefully the new Marco Branca but with better knees
Thats exactly what happened, realised he had run and slid in front of the young disabled supporter, stood up and put his hand up to apologise and after he had been congratulated by all the Boro players he turned around and did it a second time, class act, and a great goal.I actually thought when this happened (if you can get a full replay of the goal/celebration) - that it was when he realised he slid in celebration right in front of a disabled young Forest fan.
Looked a really nice/respectful touch from Sporar as he quickly got up and put his hand up in apology.
Thats my take on it anyway, i dont think he all of a sudden realised it wasn't boro fans there! He'll have known that well before that point!
0:36 onwards:
If give anything to have a nemeth at the club.looks far better than Nemeth, as someone else said; hopefully the new Marco Branca but with better knees
Watched some old matches on youtube t'other day up came spurs game when we hit 5. Nemeth looked class. Bet he'd rip this division apart. If give anything to have a nemeth at the club.
I really liked Nemeth he was one of my Favs too, but I was surprised to see he only scored 23 in 117 gamesNemeth was hugely under rated mostly because of the calibre of strikers that were at the club during the same period. He was a superb finisher, that played on the defenders shoulder. You backed him to score every time he went through on goal one on one.
I likened Sporar to Kike, not so much in the stye of play, but his likeability, personality and possibility of scoring goals that takes us up.
To be honest, it only looked such a huge howler because Hernandez was so quick to react, it seemed like he knew it was going to happen somehow. It's avery long time since I felt like this but I cannot wait till Saturday.
From the You tube clip I thought our defence looked suspect. Cracking first goal and what on earth was the Forest keeper doing for the second one. Good on Hernandez for being in the right place at the right time.
It's a simple case of laws of averages isn't it. If an attacking player puts in the effort to make sure a keeper is put under pressure every time a ball is played back to him, eventually he will get lucky because a keeper will occasionally drop a clanger. The more we do little, normally unseen and unrewarded extras like that the more likely we are to score the odd bonus goal. Probably only adds to the argument that our forwards in recent years have been too lazyTo be honest, it only looked such a huge howler because Hernandez was so quick to react, it seemed like he knew it was going to happen somehow.
9 times out of 10 that doesn't happen and nobody even notices what the keeper's touch was like.

On watching it again, as soon as the defenfer plays the ball back it initially seems like Hernandez has just stopped and given up the chase.Yeah, think he gambled a bit plus his acceleration is exceptional so it caught the keeper out.
It's very rare you score directly from putting the keeper under pressure like that, put it does lead to other mistakes quite a bit. Players like Hernandez who are almost frighteningly quick off the mark can really panic keepers. Can really disrupt possession based teams in particular.

It then looks like he sees something which prompts him to chase it down. Maybe the way the ball was bobbling? Something in the keepers body language?
Or is it a way of instilling panic after first lulling the keeper into a false sense of security?
Whatever the reason it was good to see
