Sporar Celebration Cut Short Last Night

Did anyone notice as he did his knee slide right in front of the 'fans' he realised it wasn't the Boro fans so apologised by holding his hand up & turned round.

That and his constant talking with team mates/arm round Hernandez at half time walking off/demanding the ball tells you a lot about his character - could be a right find!

I noticed every time we are on the attack he makes a run and is demanding the ball, he isn’t happy when he doesn’t get it either but not in a bad way like some players.

Nice to see a striker with good movement and a real desire to score rather than someone just lumbering about up front.
 
Yeah, I noticed that too. Showed respect to opposing fans in turning away quickly.

I remember thinking he looked very much like Branca when I watched the you tube clips before he signed. Like all good strikers he plays on his heels; always ready to move into space, always looking for the through ball.

Honestly think this lad's gonna be a special player.

I actually thought when this happened (if you can get a full replay of the goal/celebration) - that it was when he realised he slid in celebration right in front of a disabled young Forest fan.

Looked a really nice/respectful touch from Sporar as he quickly got up and put his hand up in apology.

Thats my take on it anyway, i dont think he all of a sudden realised it wasn't boro fans there! He'll have known that well before that point!

Now that I'm old I like to compare footballers today to footballers past. He reminded me of jfh. Rocket of a shot. Composed on the ball and in build up. tTelling his teammates how he wants the ball.
 
It's avery long time since I felt like this but I cannot wait till Saturday.
From the You tube clip I thought our defence looked suspect. Cracking first goal and what on earth was the Forest keeper doing for the second one. Good on Hernandez for being in the right place at the right time.
 
I’m happy to just be excited by a striker we’ve signed again, feels like awhile since it’s been more than just cautious optimism.

I like Watmore (although I think he'll always be playing out wide and not up front anyway) but if he doesn't play and we go up, I won't care!
