Spence’s deal was completed last week. I really can’t understand why there’s a delay in either club announcing it.

Apparently spurs management worried about his cigar usage when at a successful club the spurs club doctor has looked into the issue and said there will be no issues at this tin pot club. Announcement will be made in due course.

Apparently Spence having second thoughts after being informed of the recent report that Boro have significantly better club infrastructure.

I reckon it could be Levy’s final act of bloody mindedness with regard to this deal.

He had to shift on the price and payment, but is delaying the rubber stamp, knowing that this will hurt us more than them. No point paying Spence until Spurs resume training after their trip to Korea.

But hey! I have no more of an idea than anyone does.
