When you think of all the players we’ve had and sold, that’s a pretty good title to hold. Adama was another brief Boro star, who without the clause would have gone for more.

Pocketing Rooney. Absolutely had his life.
 
When he first broke into the team. Flying forward from full back at speed. Him and everyone else not knowing the outcome. I actually thought he was a good defender much the same as jones his pace got him out of trouble.

Shame, managed properly could have been a top player for us. Maybe our constant switching of managers, his attitude all wasnt a good mix. Good money, good luck djed. Hopefully we spend it on some real quality for a change.
 
one thing is for certain, we can't ever allow a situation where we have a player with undoubted quality bombed out as he is deemed not good enough or having an attitude problem, to then go to a top 4 prem team and watch his career potentially go from strength to strength.

Given what has passed selling him is absolutely the best course of action, however, it is a sad indictment of previous regimes that it has come to this

What happens when you get a manager like warnock which I was onboard with for about 4 months. Bomb spence out sign players like bamba, peltier, ikpeazu.

And this isnt djed being the saviour. Right wing he was F***ing awful but he should have been played to his strengths either full back or wing back.
 
Let's not re-write history, or believe a flawless future.
Djed has been good news for Boro (huge, game changing fee), Forest (helped to promotion) and for Djed (big move on big personal terms).
Everyone's a winner.

Same as you. Never wanted Warnock but he won me over for a few months. Liked his interview until I realised he was full of himself which was a load of shlte. Would say any old crap to take heat off himself.

Exactly. No ones knows how good or bad he could be. Hes now got a great opportunity. Their manager will not put up with any antics so it's up to him

I doubt if he played out of skin for us we would of got much more money anyway. Just a shame he couldnt help us to promotion.
