I want to to see a race not a procession and I include max in that as well.
I doubt you do. If Max had won that race today you would have said nothing of the sort.

I really don't know what you expect to see in F1? I've watched F1 since the early 70s when driver fatality and serious injury was a regular occurrence and very rarely has there been more than two teams competing for the wins. There was an element of fragility in the older machinery that would throw up random wins but generally the other teams were playing catch up with one or two top teams. This year we have Red Bull and Mercedes with pretty similar performance. In both cases we see star drivers in Lewis and Max leaving their team mates in their wake. At the moment you can excuse Perez' performance by his lack of familiarity with the team and the car. (Though one should perhaps note that Ricciardo seems to have got the McLaren hooked up this weekend).I want to to see a race not a procession
He just wants his beloved Max to win and not Lewis.I really don't know what you expect to see in F1? I find myself warming to Max more this year as he has displayed considerable maturity in his media interviews than previously was the case.
I didn't intend to watch today's race but found it captivating as the strategies unwound. Proper racing and the result in doubt until Hamilton overtook Verstappen with six laps to go and perhaps Red Bull could have won if they had pitted Max as soon as Lewis had gone for his second stop?
Try Touring Cars or Formula E?
Someone who knows the sport a bit better but I belive there is a reason Max team mates all struggle? I don't know the ins and outs but I understand he sets the car up different to most. As he's the principle driver he gets the says and his team mate struggle to get to grips. That being said Perez is a lot more experience than Gasly and Albon so hopefully he can overcome thisIt was a good race considering the awful track. The Mercedes Strategy team deserve credit for that - from the outside it looked like they had thrown it away by not immediately stopping when Verstappen had that slightly slow pitstop. But track position is not everything after all.
Verstappen and Hamilton again beat their team mates convincingly. I am not sure what Bottas thought he was going to achieve by holding up Hamilton in the circumstances - Bottas own race winning aspirations were scuppered by his own poor start. I like Perez and I think that he will have better days.
LeClerc and Ricciardo performed really well.
It goes to show how boring Spain is. Yes. The Abu Dhabi grand prix will look worse. Both should be struck from the calendarWow, that just goes to show how boring it is. Hardly an overtake apart from pit stops.
