If only right? One can dream...

This weekend marks the first big test for teams up and down the grid.
Can Mercedes keep up their momentum on a track known for its handling tests over it's speed?
McLaren are the dark horses again for this GP, do we see their true potential for this season here or are they balancing this season's results with best year's development?
Red Bull struggled today finishing 9th and 10th in the timings. Ferrari, Alpine and Alpha Tauri wedged in-between the two rivals.

Also did Mazespin?

Well no, but he still ended up in the gravel after getting on the throttle to hard and to quick. Has also started blaming the car now, funny how Schumacher doesn't have the same issues he does with driving a formula one car.

Merc and Red Bull within 0.1 seconds on the long run pace, going to be another close one

Yes Gene haas had all but admitted he’s had enough and will sell up. Mazepin is expected to buy the team.

same with stroll it’s never healthy to to have fixed position drivers in teams they own.

To be fair to Gene he's successful with his American teams and have F1 a go but there is so much more involved with the development of an F1 car than a NASCAR for example.

Yes I think he underestimated how much of a closed shop it is at the top of the grid. As Indy still has levels but nowhere near as restrictive as F1.

Terrible banter. If banter it is

This is the first GP of the season that will really test the slight differences between the cars, or at least show us what they are capable of, in the slows and the straights
So far, it's been the best season for about 5 years already, and hopefully it will just get better

No he never he was more hesitant that not slowing down he was not impeded by yellows. As”crofty” said.

Crofty was incorrect clearly however Lewis confirmed that he had to be cautious through the gravel.

Hesitant, cautious, call it what you will but either way it resulted in a slowing down.
