What do we all think of Hansen? Every time he’s played I’ve thought he’s given us something else and offered a threat. Reminds me of an Isaiah Jones type player that could give us a bit more teeth going forward. Surely he’s better than Strelec?

You’re comparing a striker with an attacking midfielder for starters. I wouldn’t be in a rush to play him up top!

I’ve always liked him in the limited bits I’ve watched. Isn’t scared to have a shot and has a bit of flair.

Can’t do any worse than Sarmiento.

Lying on the floor for nearly 2 minutes in that home match was certainly something different
Several managers have not fancied him - so there must be a reason
To be fair he wasn’t too bad yesterday

He did well, caused problems against a packed defence by dropping into little pockets of space, also running with the ball at the back line and looking for give and goes...I would like to see him start a game and play with that intensity from the start, he's always looked good off the bench.

I'd say bring back Jones. We never had a problem against low block tactics when he and crooks played together. Not always about better players, sometimes it's about a variety of differing skillsets. As Ive harped on about many times, having a bench of 'special teams'.

Agree, that's why it's so difficult to judge a player coming on with 20 minutes to go, they have a completly different mindset.

Thought he did well yesterday, more direct and got a couple of shots off.

Not sure that means he deserves a start but hopefully it can give us another option over the coming games.

In that type of situation he will be useful.

In the same way i would say Sarmiento isnt - he just does what we will have been doing, holding onto the ball looking for a pass rather than an effort.

Whether he does enough closing down/tracking when in the lead im unsure.

It's a learning point for him, not a "write him off" moment.

Sariamento started lively yesterday then he must of went for a cup of tea because I can’t remember him touching the ball after about 25 mins

Sarimento seemed to be dribbling into blindalleys but maybe that's as much to do with our movement up front then it is to do with him.
