Oh I dunno. Maybe the earlier Japan stuff sounds a bit like early Roxy but I don't think their later stuff is too similar?

Weird one, and I suspect I'll be in a minority of one here, but "Ever Fallen In Love With Someone (You Shouldn't Have Fallen In Love With)" sounds more like Kirsty MacColl than Pete Shelley at the beginning to me.

Keeping with the Pete Shelley theme, first time I heard "Fell in Love With a Girl" I was sure it was some hidden Buzzcocks gem only just discovered.

Just sounds much more like Japan, it could come straight off the Quiet Life album. More Sylvian than Ferry in the vocal for me.
