Some tennis game going on…

Make it happen next year. First sign up for an account, then check periodically when tickets pop up. I got my centre court ticket when they were released on to the site randomly one night. You don’t necessarily have to enter the ballot although it gives you another chance.
Cheers Cardiff 👍

It’s a great day at Wimbledon, top quality venue and not a rip off. Tennis clubs get tickets and they hold ballots for members that’s how I have got mine.

Kyrios really is a yob. The way he disrespects people who can’t answer him back is awful, hopefully he will get hammered in the next round. Tremendous talent but vile individual.

Genuinely surprised by the result last night. He obviously won the psychological battle as Stef has more talent in his little finger than in Nick's entire game.

Lots of talk on twitter last time about his antics stopping him from being a top player. Ive always thought the reason for the antics is because he knows he wont be a top player? Looks like he may have lucked out in the draw with a qualifier next too?

You're way off the mark there. He beat Tsitsipas last time they played. If Kyrgios had a remotely professional attitude, he'd have won slams by now. He's incredibly talented.

The theory is he's scared to try in case he fails. I don't buy that, I just don't think he has the right mentality full stop. But his talent isn't remotely in question.

He is talented, but in an age of RF, RN & ND it is far from certain he would have won a slam with a different attitude in a different era perhaps he might.

Hopefully he will never lift a major trophy, on a human level he doesn’t deserve to be talked about as grand slam champion.

That's where I see him as well. His ranking is around the 40s currently. I'd say on his very best day he's around top 15-20 but not on the same level as those at the top of the game for me.

Not sure he's scared to try for fear of failure either, but I do think there must be a conscious decision to continue acting the way he does. As for his rationale for doing so, anyone's guess.

No, not a certainty. But Federer hasn't been a contender for years and Nadal has had injury issues. He's beat Djokovic both times he's played him.

Obviously different playing for a slam but he'd have been right up there if he was as dedicated as someone like Murray.

His behaviour towards officials is disgraceful, I agree.

Kyrgios has won a slam.

He’s got a great chance at Wimbledon this year. I really hope he does it. Ideally hitting an underarm serve on championship point and winning it!

He definitely hasn't.

Edit: unless you're talking about doubles.
