Some helpful advice for board members

I”ve long since tried to stop arguing and in the main enjoyed it.
I just go along with a conversation in the hope I learn something and other person is opento listening.
Also, I’m well aware I could be wrong.

Having said that - its chuffin hard sometimes………

Labelling is quite often done on here, you are one them so you believe in this etc - when in reality most people have a complex set of beliefs and believe or not, it is also possible to change.

That there are the pendatics.... this is the way it is, not possibly, not maybe. "When I post its always black and white". RW is not perefect on this and tries to use evidence and stats etc

Then there are the put you downers - "we have told him a thousand times" i.e he's just an one off thick and stupid so and so. They are quite clever because they can put some one down and make it personal.

Then there the ones that just read the last thread and so comment out of context. It can be very innocent, but it starts a counter reaction. It can even be funny sometimes. I have done this before espeicially on long threads.

Then there is I am always right, they never apologise, never say things like "I could be wrong". When I think about it that could be the same as the pedantics.

I probably annoy people at times, because I like to discuss and present different sides

On the positive I find 90% of posters are fine, some may disagree but can still do it with respect.
