According to a transcript of the call seen by the BBC, Home Office deputy scientific adviser Rupert Shute said that while staying at home was important, “we also have to keep functioning our lives”.

“You are no more at risk at the workplace as you would be in your home or at the supermarket. It is about minimising it,” Mr Shute reportedly claimed. “We are working on the assessment that 80 per cent of us, if we haven’t already, will get the virus.

“We cannot hide away from it forever.”

Hm, the bloke in the picture in that article and who made billions is Jonathan Ruffer, born in London grew up in Stokesley. Almost a Boro Lad .... He now owns Auckland Castle, amongst other things.
 
I have a horrible feeling that Cummings shoved her into Johnson's fridge during high jinks, ran from No 10 but didn't realise that the PM was about to be carted off to hospital and there she's been for days.

Pretty sure it’s well documented she had slapped down the police asking for more powers after chief constable of Northamptonshire asked for it at a press conference

Ever thought she might just be getting on with her job?

Or she might have a underlying health condition, diabetes, asthma, get the flu jab etc. Anyone with a condition that the NHS class as vulnerable in government department was told to go home and not come back until told to do so. Does she need to declare her medical records to show she doesn’t have one of them conditions?
 
She's been seen at work every day according to a minister today. Was he lying? In a democracy, select committees serve an important part of holding government to account. Attending when requested is part of her job.

At least 101 calls are now free though.

I work for in a governmental department and anyone classed as vulnerable does not need to supply evidence. They don’t even need to state which condition they have. So I know within government you don’t have to prove it. So again why should she give her medical records?

Funnily enough at my wife’s school before lockdown was commenced and schools were closed anyone claiming to be vulnerable were requested to supply a doctors letter outlining the condition or the condition of another within their household as to why they would be absent, this applied to both staff and pupils and sent to HR or attendance officer.

I would say she’s been hidden away as she’s seen as damaged goods at the moment, she has no underlying health conditions as she has attended the Home Office everyday and was seen there this morning by her colleague, Culture Minister, Oliver Dowden, so that would more than suggest her absence from public scrutiny is not health related, funnily enough ex Home Secretary Theresa May and Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott have been upfront about the diabetes they suffered from so there are precedents in place regarding underlying health conditions.

Yeah those pesky lefties at the Mail and Express questioning her lack of public exposure during an unprecedented crisis given her key Government position is pure victimisation.

Do you not think it’s a valid question to ask why the Home Secretary is the only member of the inner cabinet not to do a public briefing nor make a public statement for over two weeks ?
