So how we feeling about todays game

As usual, I feel quite hopeful. Then I’ll see the lineup and get slightly more nervous. Then I’ll watch the game and no doubt end up with a tension headache. Then I’ll come on here and have a couple of arguments with the ‘table is lying’ rara’s, then I’ll eat a parmo and go to bed.

tbh my interest needs reigniting with a decent win. What with all this crap news going on and us in bottom 3, we just need to win. Win, win, win....

1-1 today. A dissapointing result and performance i reckon to continie the trend of late

Given that Wilder has had a bit of time to work with the players on the training ground I think this is where he has to show some improvement. This is where he earns his crust. However, as optimistic as I am our central midfield worries me and I think it needs an overhaul of players there rather than a bit of work.

But I thought strachan intentions were good namely recruiting top Scottish players . The problem was he bad over estimated the Scottish league and they were found wanting.

Pullis set out to play anti football from day one he created that insipid asinine turgid side by design. He is a complete anathema to everything I think this sport is about. Oh yes and he’s also full of sht playing his working class card whilst living in sandbanks opulence.

I pity the day he darkened our door.
Although I thought Strachan was always a shyte manager.. I did think that with the number of links he had in the SPL we could have maybe picked up a few gems.. like the ones we missed out on under Southgate.

We didn’t

It's going to be a cracking game today. 3 points, clean sheet and an above average performance. Players will gel after 2 weeks on the grass working on shape and tactics. It will have been a re-set, a mini pre-season and today our season starts proper.

No home crowd nervousness to contend with. The usual astounding away support.

This is what should have happened 👆

I said I did not know what to expect at 1pm

The Giles/Jones decision surprised me at 2pm.

Even though McGree played for Australia in the break I would have started with him a head of Mowatt or Crooks. I think he has a bit more about him. His games for Australia were friendlies against New Zealand.

"So how we feeling about todays game"

Well yesterday now, dreading that bad result because as a set of fans we seem to implode in bad runs like this and the recrimination is as frustrating as the Giles pass to behind the striker in the 2nd half buts it's probably the same at most clubs, I'm not sure what's happened to Wllder, I do think he has been poorly supported before the start of this season and the average players bought in after the start of the season, and part of that is down to the protracted nature of the Spence deal and possibly making sure we stay in FFP before we definitely had the money, but by then most of the the best deals had happened
I feel Wilder could be out at as any time now, I don't think he has lost the players it's just not clicking, + he helped a struggling Coventry side get a result today by not putting them under pressure for the 1st half, he played to negate their strengths and highlighted our weaknesses instead,. It upto the home fans to get behind them now on Wednesday and be the 12th Man, CW could easily be gone but also I still believe if we do click, and get that magic ingredient called confidence then our season could kick start again. I think like it has been suggested he has until the WC starts to get it going again, I like him I hope he does.
