So how we feeling about todays game

Huge game today given where we are but more import given where cov are as sadly there aren’t many sides below us in the table but that is where cov are through varying factors on and off the pitch.

3 pts is huge for both sides.

Home games have been rare for cov this year so they’ll be eager to kick start their home form as well.

Huuuuge game as we enter this mini block before we all break for Qatar.

Point away from home isn't a disaster with our overall form.

Lose, however, and we're a quarter into the season, bottom 3 and losing to the lowest team in the league... That's a story where despite all your optimism, you just know it isn't going to end well.

As wilder said before the Sunderland game this game is a lot bigger than it should be and I think that is the same today. The opposition is irrelevant at this time as you say we just need to win.

Anything else is frankly unthinkable if cov won then the whole table opens up.

Need a win.

For Wilder as much as our league position, lots of fans gunning for him now.

Coventry are no great shakes, but then neither are half the teams we've dropped points too.
Neither are we right now, tbf.

I don’t think that’s true, I’ve never sensed any unrest in the stands for instance people are just rightly frustrated at how shambolic the start to this season has been.

I’ve been shocked at how bad our results have been esp as it seemed to hold so much promise.

You just have to look across social media and on here to see how many are calling for his head.

It always takes longer for the crowd to fully turn.

Pulis was still getting backing till the last game in the stands, but plenty of supporters despised him.

Plenty of it is just fans acting like jilted lovers over imagined Wilder efforts to leave, mind.

Obviously the ***** results add to that though.

If you lose a few games, it is always social media that make things seem worse than they really are. I don’t think Coventry will go down this year, and it certainly isn’t a relegation 6 pointer. I agree with OP that it is an important game, but a decent performance and a point would be ok. I think that we will win, and win well though.
But never a “must win” game FFS.

Wilder with his a-team fitter, a formation that has us top of the Xg league..
3 points in the bag.

I put Strachan in that unique category, and I go back to Bob Dennison!
But I thought strachan intentions were good namely recruiting top Scottish players . The problem was he bad over estimated the Scottish league and they were found wanting.

Pullis set out to play anti football from day one he created that insipid asinine turgid side by design. He is a complete anathema to everything I think this sport is about. Oh yes and he’s also full of sht playing his working class card whilst living in sandbanks opulence.

I pity the day he darkened our door.

What is the pitch like now?

Hopefully that won’t be a factor.

If we lose and Gyokeres has a blinder this place will explode.

New boy here.
I feel that three points is a must today. Whether true or not there seems to a bit of backlash against the Wilder / Bournemouth rumours and we really need to get a run started to bring in some positivity.

Comfortable win, and dominant on xG.

Be interesting to see how Gyokeres does too, hopefully we manage him better than last time.

Not a clue - how it will go, part of me says we are due a good result, but the last 2 games says we are not a top half team and no better than say Coventry who looked a top 10 side last season.

The betting odds look wrong at present.
