I saw the film on C4 too- What a social commentary on many countries today! in the form a train that is running all the time without stopping in a world that is completely frozen and barren all the time (outside the train) by human messing about trying to stop global warming.
With elites living a completely different life to many ordinary citizens on low incomes, unaware of what life is like for those well below them socially and economically and not really bothered. But all sharing the same train/country. The tail end train carriage is dark, cold, crowded, with people eating processed sh*t. They are stopped from moving up the train by severe force if needed. Further up the train people live in light bright, warm environment growing their own fruit and veg with more space to live in. They know very little of the poor area and have no real sympathy for the people there.
