Sky Red Button and Radio Tees Commentary

Was thinking I would use the red button for picture with commentary on the radio for match tonight rather than iFollow palaver. Does anybody know how in sync they are, any time lag etc, thanks.

Wouldn’t be in sync. My pet hate though, I would rather watch a match in silence if it’s not in sync. Sometimes on the boro stream the commentators are ahead of the action slightly and when it’s like that I have to mute it. Red button will do for me tonight as least it will be in sync

Think the Sky commentary is behind, because Maddo announced Boro had scored from a corner, before he saw it on the screen! (when they were stopped from watching live due to the lock down)

I think Mathcday Live is about a minute behind, as I uaully get notifications on my phone of a goal before it happens on the screen. The BBC Tees commentary is synced to the play but if often a little out.

The Sky Red button coverage is also a little bit behind, so you can't watch alongsinde the FM radio commentary as they don't sync.

You could just stream via the website if you have a season ticket and it will be free and you get the tees commentary?
Thanks Chris, that's what I usually do but picture is better on Sky with awful commentary or poorer picture on web with better commentary, trying to get the best of both worlds. Thanks for the replies guys.

Depending on what you watch the red button on effects the delay. Now TV is upto a minute behind due to streaming over net and buffering so as to help smooth pictures where as sky itself is much closer to real time.

Try watching soccer saturday on Now and sometimes you have to wait ages for goals you already know have happened even when they are watching games in studio

Can you get red button games on nowtv? Now TV was about 40 seconds infront of Matchday Live last time i had both on my Smart TV (when we weren't on the red button)

You can if you have a Now TV stick. I think a mate of mine gets it through Apple TV too? I don't THINK it's available on the web app or mobile. You have to scroll to the bottom of your home page, and you should see 'bonus streams' there.

I watched the Huddersfield game last week on Sky and put the live stream with the Radio Tees commentary on my iPad as well to see if they were synchronised. The live stream was 45 seconds behind the Sky coverage.
