Sky News Confronts Avram Glazer in Florida Over European Super League

Sky taking the moral high ground.🤔
It's hilarious and quite ironic Sky are positioning themselves as a spokesperson for the football fans. Whilst the Glazers certainly owe the club's fans a few words, they owe Sky jack ****. Sky have been part of a huge problem in English football long before Malcolm and co. took over Man U.

It's an interesting (but so far neglected) comparison between the EPL and the recent Euro Super League.

The EPL power grab was all about money, but the obvious difference between that and the ESL was that the clubs involved wanted to own and oversee the competition, rather than a separate body, like the Premier League.

But the fundamental similarity was about profitability and nothing to do evolving elite competition. The arrogance of the proposal speaks about how out of touch those proposing it are, but I dont expect it to go away, it will return soon with a refined proposal.
