Singapore Grand Prix This Week

Have heard rumours that it’s Red Bull and Aston Martin.

Which begs the question, what on earth have Aston spent all that money on?

Wet weather should liven up what is traditionally a dull race mind. Esp as it could quickly dry in those humid temps.

Although it does look pretty heavy.

Drainage could be a factor as well as it’s street circuit so could we see pools form that might sit there.

Yes issue seems to be over a full presentation anthems etc before the race begins as it’s contractual but could it happen in these conditions adding to further delay.

This is all part of the US mindset they don’t race in the wet.

F1 seems reluctant to go in full wets anymore as they used to in the past.

It’s mad that they don’t race in these conditions. This is standard weather for Singapore. Japanese series always have a set of monsoon tyres for races too. WEC once raced at Spa in the SNOW

I agree

The mindset has def shifted since the us took over

Look at Indy car they just don’t like wet race or starts.

Ironically I think drivers would prefer to race on full wets earlier as they would clear Water more evenly and a better way to transition to slicks.

Now with inter it’s neither dry enough or wet enough to risk that extra grip.

Yeah it's that unknown at the moment isn't it? Some very dry bits and some wet bits.

Norris said his tryes feel like slicks too. It doesn't look anywhere near crossover period yet though

Bonus for Max there! He was stalling out behind Alonso.

Brave call for Russell to put slicks on. Think it may be a mistake though
