My hunch is they will find a way to get the charges dropped.
If he did try and bribe the cops I hope he gets banged up tho - just shows a sense of privilege can easily be learned.
 
Given the original story is from the sun, and even then it conceded that Maguire only paid a fraction as he only drank beer, I’d take that figure with a large pinch of salt.
 
Just click bait journalism - probably not true and even if it were, it’s his Money he’s perfectly entitled to spend it how he sees fit
 
If, and it is a big if, that bar bill is true then I'm sure you could have an equally extravagant and drunken night out on far less than a grand and donate the rest to charity.
 
It's clearly obscene if true. That said if you pull in 150k a week then it's feck all.

It's like a 'normal' person on say £300 a week paying a bar bill of £100 (ish). It's life changing money for us but it's less than half of a weekly wage for him.

I would imagine he had a watch worth nearly as much😉
 
Dunno what the fans union is but it has been shown how important fans are. This is a perfect time to tell the leagues what we want. Max tkt price etc. Were as inportant as the players. Nearly

He and his like are the reason why normal fans can't afford to go to football matches and are unable to pay for Sky Sports, BT Sport etc.

He and his like are the reason why clubs like the Boro are stuck with high earners and yet minimum wage staff are about to be made redundant.

BoroFur you seem obsessed with politics s and can’t seem to have a normal discussion without referring to it. Anyway back to the discussion....

If somebody told you how to spend your money I’m sure you wouldnt take it on the chin and say yes you are quite right and apologise for having the audacity to spend as you see fit. I know I wouldn’t. Harry Maguire didn’t make the rules he’s just a “good” footballer, the sport that he is good at is paid obscene amounts, When Bosman started this I doubt Harry Maguire was even Born.

A lot of normal fans go to football matches , a lot of normal fans have sky and bt.
