Just home, over three hours of driving reflecting on today's result and performance, getting beat at home against a poor QPR team.

Silvera & Rogers are not good enough to start games, both are Div 1 standard footballers. Carrick must see this.
Howson is not playing well, something not quite right with him, maybe not fully fit.

The table doesn't lie, after five games this is very concerning, going behind in every game, fragile at the back, no bite or drive in midfield, front four not firing, unable to change formations/tactics during matches, when it's clearly not working.

Hopefully the international break will be a good thing, to take a step back, try a few new things in training, then we go again away at Blackburn.

Carrick has to sort this out soon, the fans will give him time, he has earned it, however we cannot continue to be toothless upfront, and a soft touch in defence, and continually chasing games.

early second half the play was infront of us for a bit, howson was puffing hard mate. hes nowhere near fit enough. hes just trying to get through games. carrick just threw him back in the team out of shape. should have been playing barlaser.

Even today when we were 2-0 down with 15 mins left. We brought 2 subs on and kept the formation exactly the same. How about doing something different Carrick? How about bringing Engels off and going 3 at the back and sticking Coburn up alongside Latte? We had Mcnair at RB anyway. Switch to 3 CBs would have been fine.

Can’t disagree with any of that. There is certainly no plan B with Carrick, we play one way and if it isn’t working we swap players around but not the formation
 
Silvera has talent might get pelted for this. But he does. We’ve seen glimpses of it. Maybe we have went backwards that much I’m holding onto anything but he’s not good enough for the first team. He is simply not championship standard yet. He’s getting bullied and likes clueless he needs to be in the u21s and see how he does there. Rogers is just another fletcher.
