Silence of The Rams

apparently they are looking for loans to cover this months wages at about 1.6m. If they are looking for funding for the season for a skeleton squad of say 20 players, that would be about 2-3m (and almost certain relegation). Signing on and agent fees etc of say 500k. Plus stadium rental costs, say another 1-2m, other staff and running costs, such as training facility, coaches, travel costs, say another 2m. You are talking about 6-10m to operate for the season. They can probably raise much of that in income. As long as their fans stay loyalish at say 20k, not sure they will though. They can survive with that.....the kicker is the debt, even at 25% of pref debt they need another 5-10m or more to service that debt and stop it spiraling?
Interest rates on the rise and MORE debt being sought! Larceny at its grandest!

They must have the worst administrators going . They the only ones to benefit absolute vultures . Ashley seems the best man to get them back in order imo
maybe, although he won't do them favours, he'll only buy them if he can make a return in a decent window at low risk. They are so badly in debt, facing possible points penalties and limitations on spending next season that puts them at serious risk of dropping to League Two. It could be a minimum of 3 years back to the prem and profit, but probably a lot longer. Could he find better investment opportunities that would make a return in less time? Absolutely.

Don’t forget the other benefiting vulture, Mel Morris, grabbing and sneaking off with the stadium.
He cleaned the carcass pretty good before he left.

Wouldn’t mind it if he bought Sunderland

will be a very inexperienced team & squad that will be trying to get them out of whichever league they may find themselves. It may look tough at present, though it could be about to get a whole lot worse.

Remember the gates being padlocked at Ayresome..... it all got very real, very quickly..

If they do start in the third tier - there are some "big" clubs and others, experienced at battling and putting up a good scrap.
A few kids and the odd old head wont cut it.
I wonder what will happen to Tom Lawrence?

I'm gonna predict, they'll drop to League Two, and it'll be at least 4 years until they get back to the championship, maybe a lot longer

Supposedly, only their training ground will be available to padlock with this one
