Not naming names (they know who they are). Wanted to say thank you as they reached out from the Bournemouth ticket thread as a season ticket holder after I said I hadn't been to a game for 2 years and this was the only local game for me.

They offered to get me a ticket and post it down to me. Turned up today and I'm made up to see the boys play.

This site has some really nice people and I really appreciate that person and also one other who also reached out with the same offer. Many thanks to you both, and if we ever meet up, the beer is on me.

bumface...I know he's a nutter (in the nicest possible sense) but whilst I've been going through a bit of a tough time with the good lady's health he has been super supportive and always has a little bit of banter, info, songs or movies to ping me that take my mind off things. He's a bumfaced brick...cheers mate.

In 2013, I was having a particularly hard time as my wife was misdiagnosed and when correctly diagnosed only lived for a further 23 days. I shared this on here and received a couple of hundred plus posts. For this, I am eternally grateful. The sympathy, empathy and well wishes from people who only knew me from a football message board was truly humbling - and remains etched in my memory bank.

Special people indeed who help make this board what it is.
