Sheffield United v Sunderland.

I still can’t get my head round the fact the Sunderland manager thought Roberts should be a penalty taker. He can skin defenders all day but has no composure and couldn’t score in a brothel. 🤣

In all seriousness, most have been what I've said for the last half n our or so has been a joke.

Especially the bit about Dan Neil, he's utter **** 🤣🤣. Caught a few though.

But yeah, we will finish above Sunderland.

Can't work out if I rate the lad Isidor up front, scored a few good goals for them. But looks a bit unorthodox. Much better option than Aaron Connolly though, then again, who isn't.

Can't really argue with the job Wilder is doing right now, despite some bitterly writing him off as a terrible manager.

They'd be comfortably clear at the top if not for that deduction.
Yeah. He's always been a good manager, it was the off field stuff that soured it with us. Even in the season he left the underlying numbers were better than results (which sounds familiar)

Thought Sunderland looked pretty good tbf - i'd written them off as ***** earlier in the season and was sure they'd drop right out of it. Not good enough for top 2 but they'll be in the mix. They play some nice stuff.
Not impressed tbh. Came out of the traps early season on fire, but a few injuries and they look bang average. Not one player stood out tonight in a dire game.

Our home record is crap for a team trying to get promotion.
Sheffied UTD W8, D1, L 0. 25 points.
Us W 4, D 2 L 3. 14 points.
Lost at home to Coventry Bristol City and Blackburn (and Stoke in League Cup)
Drew at home to Portsmouth and Preston

Win them draws , draw them losses - and score the penalty when 3-1 up at Norwich - and we’d be right up there

Just need to stop being consistently inconsistent

blinkers on. Thought Bellingham looked good and Wilson looked even better. I agree they're not world beaters but good enough to be in the mix for playoffs. O'Nien is absolute gash though, shocking player.

This slump in form by them lot has been coming for a while.

Their underlying numbers have been average at best. They've been very lucky to get to where they currently are.

Unless things change, they will continue to slump, until they reach mid table where the data is suggesting they should be.

Watson, Hume, Isador all looked good I thought.

It pains me to say this too as I can't stand them.
