Some really interesting stuff Heres one

"I think the general sentiment isn’t one necessarily of disrespect, more a nuanced and balanced view with the benefit of hindsight

Yes, CW delivered what will probably be the best time in my lifetime as a blade.

The above being true isn’t at odds the the fact he’s also not infallible, and has some fundamental flaws in his approach, attitude and style. These unfortunately cut short his tenure at the lane and seemingly hasn’t really changed or sought to adapt, as the exact issues are rearing their head again.

Stubborn
Tactically rigid
Publicly having a go at players
Digs at the board and fans
Fails to admit fault

Without detracting from his achievements and the benefit of hindsight think he had a perfect storm at the lane. Through a mix of judgement and a touch of fortune, everything was aligned for success.

I said at the time I feared he’d struggle to replicate the success, and whilst he hasn’t failed at Boro yet there’s a sense of de ja vu about how things are panning out"

I think it's obvious that the guy has some nuances, but then we are a middling second tier club, so Pep ain't going to be pushing to come here.

I think he needs more time, especially after such a big turnover of players in the summer and more so because the stats suggest that we have played some decent stuff (yes I know stats don't equate to points, but the bigger picture is important).

It's a funny one, I suspect when the crowd turn fully it will happen very quickly - I don't think he has really formed any kind of bond with the fans and I am not sure he is that bothered about it. It's a job for him and he isnt here to be liked. That's absolutely fine when you are getting performances and results but if you aren't then it can go South pretty quickly.

We seem to be getting progressively worse I don't really see where your optimism comes from. The players have lost all confidence in wilder and his blinkered system. We did have 4 easy homes games in row starting with Cardiff he needs to turn it round asap. Continue the way we are going and we will be in relagation battle

4 trophies Alferton town
Promoted with Oxford in 2nd season
As I said the other day. It seems as though he's good when he's an unknown quantity but isn't able to adapt or change things when people figure him out.

Bit like Pep Guardiola. Never changes the system but ends up winning in the end. So the system is right. Just needs time for the players to get used to the system. Or, as Man City have done, if the players can’t play the system, you bring in players who can. He needs to be given more time to bring in a squad of players. This Manager is like us. He hates to lose. (y)

Anyone know his win record as a manager in professional football?

I don't but suspect its above the average.
