Shed 7 Tonight @The Globe

I have seen them 4 times this year.
One was the album launch, second was York homecoming open air concert, third was 30th anniversary of change giver played in full. Plus last night.
Each gig was unique with different set lists but most of all they are bang on top of their game at the moment. Loved the optics behind the band last night also..

2 number 1 albums as a proper independent band is remarkable.

If they were still just playing the 90’s songs I think the novelty would have worn off and lucky to have filled the arc, let alone the Globe.

Long may it continue!

"This ones called Dolphin, don't know why, there's f*** all Dolphins in it" 🤣. What a gig that was.

I honestly believe they are still improving as a band (I was going to say they were getting better but couldn't bring myself to!) The 2 number one albums this year are an incredible feat for a band that has gone 30 years without a number 1

Their self confidence is amazing. Even dealt with the stoppage during On Standby well and brought us right back into it after.

Oh, and Rowetta

have seen them a few times over the years I think that was the best show I've ever seen them do. It also has driven me to go listen to some of their newer stuff, all killer no filler in that show IMO.

Enjoyed them but thought they were better at Town Hall last time I saw them. They are a great live act though. Really glad they are getting the success they deserve.

Too many halfwits swilling their two pints of lager everywhere. But as it wasn't full it was easy to get a good spot.

Anyone know what the stoppage was.

I thought this was just as good as the town hall one.

I was one of those two pint half wits, but I wasn't spilling any, promise!

I think the stoppage was for a bit of a fight at the front right, either that or some old bloke got a bit ahead of himself and hit the deck of his own accord.

You're right about it being easy to get a good spot, the slope in the venue really helps.

Seemed like a guy ended up on the floor. They ended up being ushered out of the fire exit to the right of the stage. Not sure specifically what caused it.
There was someone being treat outside the venue too. Not sure if that was connected

It looked like a guy passed out, happened right next to us. He hit his head quite bad off the floor

I’ve seen them about 20 times now :ROFLMAO:

Saw them at Newcastle last week and they were excellent. I was at Enter Shikari on Wednesday night at The Globe and thought it was an amazing venue.

Best ever Sheds gig for me was Castlefield Bowl a few years ago. Even the outdoor gigs at York couldn’t compete!

Saw them at Preston in September for the first time and they were very good. Saw them last night and they were excellent.

There was a medical incident just in front of us, and someone got lead out for treatment.

Also this gig did seem to have a larger amount of Doyles than most others I’ve been to.
