Shamima Begum refused return to UK

That's not my argument. Lots of people are intent on a known terrorist sympathiser been brought back to this country. That's ultimately what I disagree with.
I do not trust the justice system of this country to come to the right conclusion should it be ultimately proven she is a wrong un'. The courts have previous....
Oh let me be crystal clear, and I can only speak for myself. I don't want her back in the country. I think legally and morally we have no choice. Wanting something doesn't make it right either legally or morally.

So 3 British-Bangladeshis win appeal against removal of UK citizenship

Could the Begum decision be reversed?
Although it does say in the article that there are differences between the cases due to age

Unlikely as age is the key issue HMG say she had dual citizenship. Also, from a practical point of view, she will not be in a position to get the necessary legal support to mount an appeal.

Shamimas advisers seem to have changed their approach , part of a new documentary and a western look about her she is retracting her previous comments and stating she only said those things due to fear as to what the women in th camp would do to her,
As stated I believe she should/will come back here. What irks me slightly and what I never believed was this story that she couldn’t get access to her lawyers whilst in the camp and therefore could not get a fair trial. What I said back then to counter this is that she seems to get access to reporters any time she wants and the fact she has now managed to Make a documentary just shows her lawyers previous argument didn’t stand up.

Sorry, the very fact she’s made a documentary while not being able to access lawyers shows manipulation imo. I’m a pretty forgiving bloke but I don’t believe her at all, she’s made her bed.
Exactly.

Can film a documentary, have a 'western' makeover yet can't speak to her lawyers.

A question I ask myself....... if it was my Daughter who had been brainwashed as an immature teenager how would I feel about her getting back to the UK?
Perhaps one of two others should ask themselves the same question.
The question I ask myself is did she show any remorse whatsoever in her interviews - No. the second question is has she manipulated her media coverage within her camp while claiming inability to get legal help in her camp at the same time thus showing a duplicitous side - yes. My conclusion: she hasn’t changed one jot from her non repentant interviews given initially and I wouldn’t trust her to lie straight in bed. Sorry, in this case I have little sympathy.

it she comes back I’d expect her to see out her days in prison, as I would my own child if they’d done what she’s done. I’d still love them but ultimately You make your choice and face the consequences.

Ask her dad how he feels. It's out there.

I'm not going to argue with any of that. The simple matter is that she is a British Citizen and she should face British justice for what she has done.

She is no longer a British citizen
Yes, she is.

The UK government could not legally deprive her of British citizenship if doing so would leave her stateless. However, the UK government contended that Begum was eligible for citizenship of Bangladesh and was not left stateless. The Government of Bangladesh, however, stated that Begum does not currently hold Bangladeshi citizenship and would not be allowed to enter the country

Yes, she is.
And the fact she qualified for Bangladeshi citizenship at the time we removed her citizenship yet Bangladesh, a Muslim country, don’t want her either speaks volumes.

anyway, as I said above, “if she comes etc...,”
