I think Dyche is an excellent manager, not sure if he would be as good elsewhere but certainly is at Burnley but what has happened between them two when he's allowed to train with the Boro

He started training with us well before the covid shutdown. Speculation at the time was that they fell out when Gibson's had a transfer to Watford and a loan move to Boro blocked by Dyche

Extra people within the same facility that don’t need to there, you can argue it’s only one person but it increases the chance of a spread

Chairman's nephew, still lives locally, still has strong connections with players and staff at the football club. It's not a normal situation, but not really that hard to understand.

As has been said on another thread: financial constraints would make his current wages unsustainable at the Boro.
He also has two years left on his contract.
Burnley, understandably, would want some recompense for their expensive signing.
Problem for Ben is that at the peak of his career he`s left playing a waiting game.
For a player this must be really frustrating.
He either rots at Burnley or they take a pragmatic view and accept a reasonable bid from someone?

Maybe his home is in the North East, so unless he gets a Cummings exemption, he should be at home. I'm not clever enough to work out whether being a footballer living 100 miles from your place of work entitles you to drive there to train when you should be staying home. Perhaps working from home for a footballer means training where you can.

Ayala now lives down south according to his wife, but he was back training yesterday. Maybe him and Gibson are top and tailing it somewhere?
