I can't laugh or even slate the clubs who signed him. Just remember we paid 6-7mil for him. That's still stunning

I didn’t. Britt was limited but was pretty handy against most championship defences.
Fletcher has been hopeless everywhere, including the loan spell at Sunderland and his 3 clubs since us.
Not his fault we wasted 7M on him though. 1M max would have been about right.

Fletcher didn’t get the chances early on.. he looked the better player.. then got injured.

He had a run of being half decent up front with Britt (under Woodgate I think) but then he seemed to lose his motivation and never really hit those heights again. I think there was always potential there, but I think everything he's done since leaving Boro shows he won't reach it.
