Season Tickets now back on sale to non Gold Cards

It didn't recognise a lot of Gold Card holders on Tuesday morning when he should have done. By the afternoon it had sorted itself out.

Brilliant - done! I really thought I was going to miss out for the first timne in 20 years - phew :)

KEEP GETTING THIS WHEN I TRY TO RENEW
The following subscription(s) cannot be renewed online. It seems that your seats are already occupied: SEASON 2019-2020, XXXXXX XXXXXXXX Please contact the back office to renew these subscriptions manually.

I'm not a Gold card holder as I didn't renew for one season due to work around 10 years ago. Otherwise had one for 25 years so was starting to panic about missing out. However, managed to renew mine when we noticed they were on sale around 7pm yesterday.

I was getting that.

Check back in an hour once it’s timed out.

I wonder if this is down to an IT error of some sort?
Seems strange to renew sales unannounced via the website when Gold Card holders had to ring up.

I'm hoping they honour the sales, as I managed to renew last night also.

You read my mind, I can see the statement now ........... "unfortunately the tickets were accidentally released for sale by a junior employee and all sales are invalid".................... they'll still have taken your money though!
Or maybe they thought they would sneak them back on sale so activity would be a relative trickle and not a site crashing, phone jamming free for all.

Even if it was a mistake, the numbers may still be ok so last night's renewals have a good chance of making it.

To be fair, releasing them on-sale last night with zero communication is entirely consistent with how they’ve handled this so far.

Quite. I should state that the second option I outline requires a level of planning and forethought I don't usually associate with MFC in general and it's commercial activities in particular.

I do find the sense of relief felt by some, myself included, mildly amusing. We still might not get to attend a single match.😊

Just renewed ours. I wasn't that fussed myself but my teenage son is desperate to go.
Does anyone else think that this is a massive **** up by the ticket office and tickets shouldn't have gone back on sale and we'll all be getting refunds with an apology?
