Season Ticket Refunds

It's the big unanswered question and the elephant in the room. It would be nice if there had been some form of communication over this, yet nearly 3 months from the abandonment of fans returning we have radio silence... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Owed about £180 I think so far, 10 home games missed. Should be some statement particularly with people unfortunately losing jobs and the Christmas period. Could be somebody who really needs that money back.

There are 3 or 4 options that they are currently looking at, one of those you mention above. But whatever they do, they are looking to give fans a choice.

I realise that but I think the club have done all they can especially free midweek away games.
I am not saying they aren't making a good job out of a bad situation, I am saying that you know there is a difference between watching a game in an empty stadium on the tele, to being sat on the terraces.

True although red button has them too.

I don’t see what the club can do. I can certainly see why they haven’t just dished all the money back.

At the end of the season/renewal time (usually Feb) I’m sure there’ll be some clarity.

February is going to be an interesting renewal plea!

Leeds are just transferring fans payments to next season but season tickets are like gold dust there so i doubt too many fans will be complaining about not getting refunds

They were like gold dust here back in 1998 too, but times change when teams leak goals and points.
Leeds' support has never been robust.

I will be renewing for next season whatever happens over the rest of this as I think our club needs our support.
I respect others who need refunds and are less secure, but trustt the club will do the right thing - they very much have so far.

Leeds didnt sell the stadium out though as they have a cap. I suspect this is due to a members scheme that costs £50 to join annually which gives members preference over general sales. Just another way of raising income/making supporters who can't afford or get a season ticket pay out more for a chance of a match day ticket

Hopefully they’ll just transfer it to next season. I wouldn’t be too averse to them taking say £50 either, afterall we have had the online match pass etc. Not to mention the free e-programme, which I have quite enjoyed reading. I haven’t bought a programme in years, probably over 20 years, but I think I’d occasionally buy it when the stadium reopens. There’s a lot of advertising but also some good stuff.

I realise it’s a different universe, but my Missus who has had a season ticket at OT for over 30 yrs, gets a refund paid into her bank for every home game that passes which fans are not allowed in. I couldn’t see Boro being financially able to do that.
