Season ticket prices in the Championship

Our prices are shocking.

But Bournemouth have the most expensive price for the cheapest adult ticket.
I'm not sure how Blackpool have the cheek to charge so much, especially given they've been languishing in League 1 until this season. Their ground always looks like it's in a right state.

Fairplay Swansea and Huddersfield 👍

It would be nice to see tickets reduced or maybe even some kind of offer. I don't know but something like buy one and get one 25% off or something (just anything as a gesture).

Then again we are losing 2mil a month and post pandemic. You can't ask for much as Gibbo is still investing in the team.

Is this for new season tickets? - because we still don't know everyone's prices do we? And it isn't straight forward after the COVID seasons.
It would be meaningless - as far as renewals are concerned. It is not a case of straight payments.
Every club has some element of the ticket money carried across from last season and the season before. Many clubs have not reimbursed fully or fully carried over the season ticket payment from last season. Or the credit from the season before. Also nearly every club except Boro and Stoke have asked for payment for the £10 match streams fee from last season, either fully or partly.

I think those are the early bird prices. I paid £335 for mine, but that's a senior ticket and I think the normal price was £420. They haven't restarted sales yet have they?

Rob you can't spin this, we've been one of the most expensive for years.

its embarrassing he does this season after season, we are extremely expensive, yet he is frightened to say so. Call it out for what it is, a disgrace. Amongst the highest prices in one of the most deprived areas year on year its scandalous.
I am saying I don't think the figures are necessarily an accurate reflection for any club this year. Every club has had different schemes in place through the covid seasons. Some clubs have offered free streaming, some have asked for the whole or part of the money back. Some clubs have discounted against payments for last season. Some clubs offered credit for unattended games two seasons ago. It is a more complex picture across the board for most clubs.

Rob, you might have more of a point if we weren't consistently amongst the most expensive over many years.

I would rather we were down nearer the bottom -
Coventry City is interesting with a flat rate - then again they would like to have their own stadium back again.

We are always among the highest, the walk ups more so

Ours vary a lot depending on:

when you first applied which makes a difference, because a lot of season ticket holders get a free drink and/or reduced price for early bird.

if you are a concession - our concessions in general get good reductions.

I paid £420 for up to 23 games and 23 drinks - If I missed 3 games it works out @ £21 a match plus a pint. A typical show and drink at my local theatre is £28 - say to see a tribute band - I am not a concession but it I was it would be around £16 for a Boro match and £26 for a theatre ticket&drink. On that score the Boro prices are reasonable.

I agree walk ups are too high for adults @ £30. Also new non early bird season tickets are too expensive.

I amazed QPR are selling adult season tickets @ £225 - that the same price as 4 match tickets @ Chelsea. QPR should be sold out at that price and I note away fans get charged £32 a match there. My first season ticket @ the Riverside was £225....in 1995.

The truth is, they arent. The cheapest ones at QPR for an Adult are £480 - there is a type of ticket that is showing as Sold Out - but the prices arent visible. The cheapest that you can buy now is £480
