Season card sales suspended

I haven’t renewed due to covid etc, as many haven’t. I was intending to this week though but looks like I missed the boat.
The club had no announcement or final deadline on the early bird so should, when they can, re open it and I would retain my current seats and benefits. I have over 100 priority points and would want them to roll onto away matches etc, when they start again.
As pointed above I’m angry with myself for not doing it however when it starts again, if I have to start from scratch then I don’t think I’ll bother.

Looks there will only be a few special full timers for a few seasons, no part timer walk ups either. No away fans as well. UTB.

I renewed, hopefully I'll get to see at least several games depending on the circumstances.

Although I agree with the clubs decision to suspend ticket sales until such time capacity and safety issues are sorted, I feel they should at least clarify the situation to supporters like myself who intend to renew (and use the credit from last season) as to when the early bird offer will definitely cease. Many like me would have probably renewed by the first deadline had it not been deferred indefinately. As a gold card holder, I will indeed renew but at the same time don't feel I have any special rights above those who have already renewed. At the end of the day we're all Boro fans.

Glad we renewed a few weeks back.
Wonder whether MFC may offer further renewals once they decide on an acceptable capacity (e.g. even 25% could give maybe 8.5k ish).
How you qualify for a renewal is another question....length of service... loyalty points?
Whatever they do there will be controversy.

Following today's announcements - I wonder if the return of even limited numbers of fans will be further delayed.

I suspect they may be. A number of clubs will be bricking it - particularly in L1 and L2 - as the new season was starting in September with fans returning fairly quickly. The announcements today suggest that is not so certain.

Although I am not in favour of what Boro have done (reopening sales, making no comment on 2020/21 season, setting no deadline, suspending sales with no warning, etc.) it does make sense to stop selling until they have received all information from the EFL, made the capacity calculations, got a date, know how many home games will be missed (fixtures not out yet), etc. For me they should have never been put back on sale after the season was restarted.

Yes but only 4 days to make your mind up. I renewed last week because I could afford to. But this is far to short a time for those who cannot. Especially with all uncertainties about what is going to happen. Come on Boro a bit of thinking required here!

A bit of a lifeline here. I hadn't renewed because I hadn't got round to it and usually leave things like this until the last minute. I will renew now.

I noticed someone has tweeted MFC back saying they're a gold season card holder but they have two sons (12 & 14 years old) and wants to know what's happening as they aren't gold card holders - impossible for them to be.

Interesting situation.
