He's in that very select club of Boro hat-trick scorers. Don't see many of those. Can't have been more than 10 in the Riverside era. Can think of 8, but bound to be missing someone.

A 1 in 3 striker in a difficult period, he cost £3.5m and probably significant wages but that’s not his fault, I liked him and we’ve had far, far worse value. Certainly not in with some of Strachan’s shockers.
