Everyone should have a scarf at every game :)

Was a big tradition when i was growing up. My Dad, grandad, uncles, cousins all made sure i had one on before each game going to Ayresome. I do the same with my nephew and i will with my son when i start taking him. UTB.

I hate wearing scarves, I just find them annoying. But they are good for the purposes of being held aloft at football matches. Even though I have never owned a Boro one.

The extent of the selection on the Boro website is very poor.

Both are fine, but you'd have thought there'd be more choices.

Unofficial route seems to be the way to go.

That is crap that like.
Used to be a few different options in there with home and away colours but I'm guessing its just a case of the demand dropped so they've wrapped in, to the point now your options are jock or gay friendly

Speaking of scarves who the hell bought yhr half half villa scarf on sat.

What next Chelsea one surely the most ill advised thing ever.

Last time I was in the club shop the only scarf on the racks was the tartan one. Previous visit there was the Pride one as well.

Slightly amused at the club asking us to wear scarfs when they can't even maintain a stock of them.

I can understand why people buy them. There seems to be a huge thing now to criticise absolutely anyone wearing one, even kids - Not saying this is what you're doing here. I just think there are reasons they're bought sometimes. It might be their first game, might be a special occasion for them and they're at the game so they buy them - It cant just be for the sake of having a scarf for the game, as often than not these knock off merchants have just plain Boro ones too so its the date/occasion the buyers are after.

I've got every single UEFA cup one still, each to their own i know i'd never buy one for a FA cup 3rd round game against Villa but some people do, must be a good market or they wouldn't keep churning them out at every opportunity. If we got to a cup final i'd probably buy one as a souvenir to go up in the loft with the rest and never be looked at ever again.

Uefa cup I get as a memento I have them all as well but villa??? Really

And who the hell would buy a Chelsea one our biggest nemesis.

A lot of young kids don't know that though, they don't look up the history of the club or anything so only see Sunderland and Newcastle as our rivals, so if its kids buying them that's why.

Adults who buy them though, they want sectioning.
