Scarfs / hats out of stock in shop!!

So I thought I would treat myself to a new Boro bobble hat or scarf for winter yesterday, so called into club shop.
Only a beanie hat available which are too small for me and don't do the job or another excessively priced beanie hat with Errea plastered all over it which is not what I wanted.
I discount the Christmas pudding hat as full time viable alternative!
Just the one choice of adult scarf in stock which was the Boro Pride rainbow.

I've seen on here about the problems getting replica kits / supply chains etc. but when a large club shop can't even sell me a red & white hat or scarf there is something seriously wrong with the retail outlet and it's management.
It's not like they'll go out of date if they don't sell them all in time like replica shirts which have a shelf life. Just bulk order, how hard can it be?
 
It’s shocking, but I’m not surprised I always buy my winter stuff in July as that’s when they have stock.

How bad is it when stock announcements are made mid game as well oh we now have some stock in… like that’s an achievement.

The reason I think is simple given our bizarre we can only sell our stuff in our shop stance so there’s no appetite for manufactures to make them in sufficient quantities as the return is so small.

So we are the after thought.

What time did you go in? I was in there at 2:30 and my mum was able to get a scarf that was the alternative to the pride scarf you mention. People had clearly jumped on the fact the third kit was back in stock and were buying it. 27,000 people there yesterday and popular jersey back in stock, always going to sell quick.

It was after my post match cuppa so probably about 5.15pm ish
They're out of stock online as well so they can't have any left

Your mum now has a collectors item :)
 
Not sure if there's club merchandise outlets available in all stands, but there was certainly hats & scarfs etc. available to buy at the small store located in the north-east concourse yesterday.
 
The Club Shop is full of tat. It isn't even cheap tat, it's expensive tat.

Went in to look and given that I am a gentleman of a certain age with a certain amount of disposable income that I could have spent in there, not a single item was likely to massage my wallet. I don't know who is buying this stuff and if it is selling them I suppose that's fair enough but it is the worst stock I have known. Simple stuff like a warm bobble hat in red or red and white with MFC or Boro or a Lion on it. How hard is that?

I’ve genuinely seen TJFA clubs with better merch stands!
 
I nearly bought a shed seven bobble hat on Friday.. I thought I’d get a boro one instead.

What an idiot!
