Satellite dish question

I know there some TV experts on here, so a question, if I may....

I have Freesat, and the picture has been breaking-up for some time and is not watchable (fades in and out from nothing to fairly stable for a few seconds, can't get some channels anymore). Changed the Box and still the same. The dish itself (on wall for approx 10 years) seems ok and rock-solid, so I'm wondering if it might be the LNB. Does this sound likely with these "symptoms" or are there other possibilities? Is it worth replacing that bit of kit and could it be done by an accomplished incompetent such as my good self? I live out in the sticks, so getting someone in to look at it is easier said than done but maybe I'll have to bite the bullet. TIA

I had a triple lnb on the roof in Paris when I lived there.

The collars holding them were like a ceramicky material which disintegrated due to being in direct sunlight.

On a digital satellite system, a weak signal or mal-alignment normally results in pixelation so sounds like it could be an lnb problem

another tip mate i did was if you have another person get them to facetime you when at dish end get the signal screen up on tv and adjust the skew of lnb until you see 100% worked a treat for me it’s the angle of the lnb that’s important hope this helps
