Sao Paulo F1 Grand Prix Weekend

Not wearing his seatbelt on warm down lap.

Its beginning to look like persecution now.

I wonder if they are attacking him because of all the flack they got for the cultural appropriation "still Max rises" tweet on Monday?
It will be nothing, fine at most. They have to promote road safety at the end of the day so would likely be in trouble if they didn’t at least look

LeClerc drove about ten laps at Barca unbuckled during the race and mentioned it numerous times over the radio, the centre buckle (which is free floating) was even on the floor and in risk of shooting forward into the pedals and he wasn't called to the stewards and no punishment was handed out to himself or Ferrari. But the FiA only exist to help Mercedes out don't they.........

That’s very true actually I completely forgot about that. 5k fine in the end

While I don’t agree with above comment it’s clear Mercedes has found more front lines speed from somewhere.

6 second gap they had at the start finish line

as I say I think the mercs are in the driving seat now with those three tracks to come with that type of speed.

The evidence is he ran himself off the track, so keen was he to hit Hamilton
You think anybody would intentionally crash a car into another one doing over 100mph when you are still top of the table and still have the advantage with three races left?

Of course, at this stage if they both dnf it practically hands Max the title. I can absolutely guarantee he will take both of them out before the end of the season if it looks like Merc have the better car

Max won by 20 seconds in Mexico, it’s going to change track by track, can’t exactly say the Mercedes is faster overall based on today

Yes. And that's exactly why he would do it.

Do you think a driver of Maxs skill would gave gone so wide in turn 4 he went WAY off the track if he wasn't trying to hit someone? Given he's already done it once this season. It's not like he doesn't have form

Complete agree with this
Don’t forget for all the speed they have today the safety ( thank god) is incredible compared to the dark days of the 50’s -70’s and even the 90s where the only thing stops the driver was Armco a hay bail or even a tree.

so as you say can’t compare. As for goat and longevity the reason there wasn’t this longevity is many of the former champions didn’t live long enough to enjoy it.

I find phrases like goat etc incredibly disrespectful to the fallen drivers of the past. Look at jochen rindt the only posthumous f1 world champion. He died before he could hold his trophy.

All lined up for a fantastic fanali like the undertaker and hulk hogan and the rock.
Did you believe that as well?
