Santa Ponsa Mallorca

I've been but a long time ago, it may have changed now but back then(1998) it was predominantly Irish holidaymakers (no bad thing)

Go quite often, nice resort, big Irish and Scottish contingent though, Couple of main bars are McTavishes, singers on every night, and round the other side of the bay, Jaggy Thistle, or Daniel’s corner.
The square is quite all the time now, we pop in early doors now and then to start the night off before eating out,
If you walk round the left hand side of the bay and walk half a mile keeping close to the sea, there is another beach called Little beach, only small but quite nice.
We hire bikes and cycle along the side of the motorway on a cycle path (behind a fence)and cycle to Palma Nova, takes 30 mins, or take a taxi for 10 euros, takes 10 mins max.

I went in 1993, the summer before I started big school. It was decent.

The best thing about it that I can remember was a restaurant that had an uneven pavement outside. We sat and watched about 100 people trip over the protruding flagstone. No one hurt, all good fun.

Let me know if it’s still there.

Was there last week. Stayed at Whala Isabella- beach decent 6 euros for lounger on beach plus 6 for sunshade. Went for really good tapas at tapas y mas- recommend booking as they’re always busy. Really good Italian and other bits around the resort. Plenty to do. DM if you wanna know anything else!

stayed in Palma last month, loved it., first time i have been to Mallorca,
one day i took the famous old wooden carriage Train & Tram to Soller - absolutely fantastic, and a MUST if you are over that side of the Island, Port de Soller is gorgeous
