Yes it was. I recall being there at that game. It was a 4th round League Cup Tie against Palace in which he went off with a cruciate knee injury in the first half, the second time it had gone that year. He only played about half a dozen games for us.

The injury was suffered on 31st October 2018 and he never played again.

Aww absolutely gutted for the lad. I remember being really excited when we brought him in on loan.. very much fancied by Wenger at one point.

Hopefully he can still have a future in the game, I wish him the very best of luck.

Awful news that. He would definitely have had a good career in the game, likely as a solid PL full back / top champo player.

Was quite the scoop when we signed him on loan.
