Sam Fender

First gig for 18 months last night at the Georgian Theatre in Stockton. Small but perfect venue and it was bouncing. Sam Fender is going to be a mega star for sure. Great to be back at a gig and it felt safe as everyone had to prove that they had been double jsbbed etc. Awesome!

I've said this before but I thought modern music was rubbish until I heard Sam Fender. Now I am more open to trying new acts.

Music aside, what was it like being back in a crowded venue? did it feel a bit weird?

Felt weird at first then it soon felt normal again. The checks on the door and how that was all handled was excellent. Missed live music so much. Sam F was rocking…said that he felt like he had been asleep for 18 months and that now he had woken up again. Same for all of us I think.

There are so many good acts in Teesside alone, let alone further afield just waiting for people to discover them.

You had to prove you were double jabbed?

Not seen anything from The Georgian saying you need proof of double jabs to enter the venue, was that something unique to last nights show?
