6 automatically qualified players: Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, Tyrell Hatton, Matt Fitzpatrick and Robert MacIntyre.
Donald has chosen Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and Justin Rose alongside rookies Sepp Straka, Ludvig Aberg and Nicolai Hojgaard.

I do think Meronk should have been on the plane but you can't argue against it too long.

A lot of people seem to think Lowry should have missed out but you're then going into a Ryder Cup with 5 rookies and in my opinion, that is too many.

There is obviously a lot of statistics and percentages behind these decisions, plus in the big moments you want Major winners to handle the pressure. Both Rose & Lowry fit that bracket.

I think it is going to be a lot closer than Whistling Straits, a lot of it depends on the course set up which we know was half the battle against the US at Le Golf National in 2018.
