Russia fires warning shots at British Warship

I think it is EXTREMELY unlikely that the Russians would drop bombs close to a navy vessel of another nation. Not impossible but unlikely. So many things that could go badly wrong, warning shots perhaps, bombs no.

Defender is the best class of air defence destroyer in the world... I was under the impression she is sailing with the USS The Suillivans and HNLMS Evertsan as well as a few Ukrainian Navy vessels.

The Russians would be daft to try anything so stupid as any threat would be shot down before it got anywhere near the ship.

From the source I have read it was a Russian training exercise and they gave prior warning to all vessels in the area beforehand. The fact that Defender was so close suggests we were gathering intelligence.

The Russians are just spinning it up just like they are doing off Hawaii with the US Pacific Fleet.

Apparently there is a website that shows our ship was in port at the time the Russians claim it to have happened..

Isn't a point of contetion also whether or not the waters are Russian in the first place? It looks like they are the only ones who think that.
