Rumoured Oasis setlist

Who Feels Love, Hung in a bad Place, Sunday Morning Call, Where did it all go Wrong, Ain’t got Nothin…all decent songs for me!
I can see why them songs wouldn't be everybody's cup of tea because they're a bit moody, but they were an expression of where Noel was in his life at that time. It's all about living the high life, burning out and realising the emptiness of the rock and roll experience.

Can't agree with Where Did It All Go Wrong and Sunday Morning Call. Great songs.

I'll add Little James and Those Swollen Hand Blues to the list. Swollen Hand Blues was Noel basically trying to write his own version of Strawberry Fields.

Where Did it All Go Wrong is a rocker - I prefer it to Little By Little - but would be strange for their comeback tour

Best version of Who Feels Love - every other version is a dirge

~25 songs will be tough for a returning band who hasn't played that long together again. How much have they been practising together?
I think the only worry would be how the vocals come through.
(Musically not the most challenging)

Having said that - prob won’t hear them as, quite rightly, its going to be a ‘singing fest’

I don’t think Liam is underrated as a songwriter, I mean, he’s really bad!
Maybe I was being a bit generous saying he's underrated, but he's definitely written some good songs in my opinion.

A lot of the solo stuff was co-written with professional writers but I'm pretty sure Bold and When I'm in Need were 100% his own creations, as there was footage of him playing those songs in an Irish pub, before he'd set the wheels in motion to pursue a solo career.

When I'm in Need is a beautiful song.

I tried so hard with his solo career but I hated every album and almost every song, one song I do really like though is Moscow Rules. I think it had something to do with him using writers, to me that makes you a pop star, no different to Ed Sheeran and the likes.
NGHFB on the other hand…really brilliant.

Yeah, Noel and the others won't struggle.

Liam's going to have the hardest job to replicate, especially for a 2 hour set. Getting a decent sound in venues like those is always quite tough, and they often turn up the vocal, so the pressure's going to be on him.

Noel will be giving him **** if he's not up to task too, his songs are like his baby, he won't want that legacy wrecked.

Can't imagine they would have agreed to do it though if they didn't think they could do it justice.

Should be good, and will certainly be interesting.

I wasn't a big fan of his solo stuff to be fair. To be honest I think he should have been braver and written the songs himself. He is capable of writing beautiful songs, but then again he might have struggled to write a full albums worth.

I quite like some of those tunes. Not an Oasis hater or particular admirer (apart of course from applauding any achievements from the performing ape community). I suppose my tribute band would be called OKsis.

Yes, I did waste all that preamble just to set up that shíte joke.

Liam's being touring and singing these songs almost none stop since Oasis split so he should be ok.

I know his voice isnt what it was but i saw him last summer and I was actually really surprised at how good it was. I was expecting him to sound like a bad kareoke version of his former self but he sounded decent. I dont know whether the sound engineers can autotune his voice or something nowadays but last summer was more than up to standard.
