Managed to catch them live a few years ago and thought they were quite bland and now their music just seems monotonous, like they are making it deliberately to be used on such things like Inbetweeners episodes.

I know they are very popular so is it just me who finds them dull?

Saw them live in Portsmouth in August. Daughter is a big fan but I'm too old to take on new music
Have to say though, I thought they were very good. It's got to be hard to generate a different sound when all you have is a base guitar and a drum, so I can see where you come from. But the stage presence was excellent and some of their more recent music was very good.

The first album was fresh and different, but as Dybuk says it is hard to innovate again with just drum and bass as a rock band.
