I was born in Middlesbrough but I didn't see it until I moved to IB about 25 years ago.

I actually live in London but I would have thought over the years I would have seen it whilst up north.

There's also a plane on a roundabout near Tours airport - but not a Spitfire.

Coincidentally there's a piece on Russian roadside furniture in the Guardian today. They've taken it one step further.

That will be a Harrier. Couple of years ago someone crashed into it, bit too much sauce for the driver methinks.
Would have to liked to have one at Teesside Airport but they scrapped the Lightning that was there, shame really.
