He can be a t*t but I don't really have a problem with it to be honest. He's not talking about individuals and if young players are annoyed by it, they know how to respond - beat him. Or if you can't, work harder till you can. That's all I'd be thinking.

Interestingly seems to be a similar situation in men's tennis.
 
Going to be a big big miss when he eventually retires.

Most naturally gifted snooker player there has ever been.

Oh and he's bang on too.
 
I admire and dislike him in equal measure.
Can be a bit whiney - retiring god knows how many times because he’s fell out of love with the game only to be back year in year out.
I really despised his initial refusal to complete the 147 that time due to issues with the prize money on offer ( a bit insensitive to others given how much he earns compared to the average person in the street)

however there is then Ronnie the genius, the entertainer, the right hand left hand switch! One of the most exciting players for many a year!

Disagree with that statement, people thought Higgins would be missed and Jimmy White came along. I think you could also argue about Stephen Hendry being naturally gifted.

We’ve had a lot of gifted players Hendry is one but the difference here is Higgins,white and O Sullivan are Mavericks - they break the rules of the game on and off the green baize, Hendry was as dull as dishwater in my opinion. I expect the next big character may well come from the far east!

Ronnie has never won sports personality of the year unlike some other snooker players. For a 5 times world champion in a TV sport thats incredible.

But even worse hes never even been nominated

Hendry was indeed fabulous, but for natural ability, Ronnie is by far the best. What he does with a cue is incredible. And some of the records he's broken, I doubt will be broken again.

Undeniably the most naturally gifted player and one of the best ever, but I find his comments very disrespectful to fellow professionals. Even if it was true, it's poor form to openly slag off other players on the tour. Comes across very petulant and arrogant
