Ronaldo has scored 787 goals, amazing

Absolutely stunning numbers👏

Also at the other end of age scale.... I just read on twitter that Haaland has 65 in 65 for Dortmund. Oh and 12 in 15 for Norway.

21 years of age......stunning.

Need to bear in mind that 139 of these are penalties.

Still leaves 648 goals in about 20 years so is still good going.

I was thinking yesterday if he will hit 1000? I’m not sure I can rule it out, I can see him playing until he’s over 40.

Yep, they score themselves, nobody ever misses and no other forward with big numbers ever takes penalties.

🤷‍♂️

Not quite correct. he has missed 28 himself. Just interesting that he is taking an average of 10 penalties a year throughout his career.
Maybe you are to young to remember the famous Chinese Man City player Lee One Pen.

For me he is the best of the best . A machine and example to all footballers of the dedication needed to keep going and performing . I hope he is roundly applauded by away fans at every game . It’s a privilege for them to see him play

One of the true greats no doubt and as much as I’ve never liked Man Utd, I’m happy to see him back in the Premier League scoring goals.

Of course it pretty much always turns into the Ronaldo v Messi debate but I don’t really care about that. Just accept they’re two great players and different players.

I actually find him a pretty likeable guy when he gets interviewed, not some arrogant poser like people originally assumed. He still seems pretty aware that he come from nothing. He’s just incredibly driven to be great.

I've seen two of them against us, the first being a consolation in the 4-1 hammering and the second being an equalising penalty in a 2-2 FA Cup quarter final draw.

Used to hate him back in those days, don't mind him now.

Phenomenal player and athlete.

He's by far the 2nd best footballer in the last 20 years or so, and to be 2nd behind Messi is certainly no shame.

Incredible how devoted he is to his sport and how dedicated he is. Looking at some ex-footballers who are younger than him, just shows how much he looks after himself.

Could easily be still playing at a good standard at 40 years old.

Just look at Ibrahimovic, 40 next month.

And while he's certainly no couch potato, I daresay Ronaldo is in better shape than him (well pretty much any player really).

I would say far better than Messi but it's all about opinions

Yeah, another professional who has taken care of himself and is reaping the rewards.

Scored within 10 mins of getting subbed on last night for Milan.

Agree that Ronaldo is in better shape and if Ibra can be doing what he's doing at 39/40, then I think there's no reason why Ronaldo can't.
