Rodrigo Muniz.

He's signed for Fulham. Gotta admit I'm pretty narked by it. Was quite excited at the possibility of a South American duo. Seems like he has the physical qualities for the Championship, just have to hope he's a spectacular flop now but I imagine under a good Fulham side with Silva wanting everything through him that he'll be sh¡t hot.

Hell of a gamble though isn't it. Spending a wodge on two lads who've barely a handful of appearances between them. I'm partly relieved partly disappointed.
 
If someone came on FMTTM for the first time would think it was a forum for 8 year olds! We’ve discovered a Brazilian striker, “Yippeee now we’re talking Premier League here we come”. Fast forward a week or so, Boro prevaricated over a transfer as usual and another club step in and gazzump us, then it’s, “he’s a risk….hope he gets an injury…..we have better players”…..etc, etc!
If he goes elsewhere it’s because Boro p***ed about as usual and a players head is turned by a bigger club or the bright lights of London!

It’s a little disappointing to hear warnock say this evening that we’ve missed out on Muniz because we waited ‘too long’, in fact, “one or two players we’ve missed out on” he’s quoted as saying! Was this the couple of South American’s he mentioned earlier that Bauser was trying to sign? Hopefully he’s not referring to Payero too..

I took it as we've missed out on one or two other potential striker targets (that we didn't move for) as we were waiting for an answer from Muniz.

I reckon he means that the club were offered Muniz in January as the 'gem' and we decided to wait, and then we didn't even get on it in May/June and get it done. Probably waiting to save a 100k on wages for 5 weeks.
