Rodri remarks about Gibraltar

If it had happened in the stadium, the FA would probably have been fined.

They were already fined €10,000 because England fans booed the Slovenian national anthems.
Pretty sure there's video footage of fans singing it in and out of the stadiums in Germany

UEFA and on the grounds that he's making irredentist claims against another UEFA member's territory.

Same reason Serbia were fined during the tournament for their fans displaying flags showing Kosovo as part of Serbia, and Albania for their fans displaying flags claiming the territory of neighbouring UEFA members too.

It'll probably be a bigger fine in this case because it's actually multiple Spanish players doing it at an official event, rather than fans.
They're perfectly entitled to do so. It was in a public square in Spain. I'm not convinced that UEFA has any locus in this matter.

missed the part where Gibraltar spent 40 years being blown to bits, men women and children being shot in the night just going about their daily business. NI is completely different and you know it

A fine grasp of Irish history displayed there.

Just to bring you up to date though. In 1988 two men and a woman were shot in Gibraltar whilst going about their daily business.

Because 99% of the population want to remain British according to the 2003 referendum

The thing is that's sort of a closed referendum isn't it?

Is a referendum valid if you take somewhere over, then have a vote between the people who took it over and their loose descendants?

We only took over it in the first place with the Germans and Dutch to secure trade in the med when we were a superpower, seems a bit out of date, especially considering Spain's within the EU and Schengen etc.

Just seems like and old rich brit tax doge to me?
