Some might know that I was wittering on about the rock the lock down group on Facebook.
It was set up by a couple of local performers from the Costa del Sol. To provide an online festival last weekend.
The group now has over 600,000 people in it.
I have to admit the quality was not great last weekend. It was a bit like a worldwide version of a karaoke show. Plus the changeovers between artists were not very slick.
Today and tomorrow afternoon and evening they are having a second go.
This time they are having 1/2 hour slots. With 3 different artists performing different genres of music live. You can swap between the 3. 72 acts in total I think.
If it is like last week the videos are then available online afterwards.
It might be worth you taking a look at some point at the weekend.
I cannot guarantee you good music. Nevertheless it might help people get some comfort being in a worldwide group. It made me feel less isolated last weekend. When I was almost a week in to lock down.
